I recon it's bettter for Gxy to buy 15% total shares of A40 than using the money for Share buy back. It may cost $40 million. When a company buy their own shares the company have to remove those shares from the registry. the company connote hang on to it and sell them when Share price rise due to Share buy back. When Gxy buy A40 shares now Gxy can hold on to till until it goes up and sell it and make a profit
