Wary 1, Gekko, good on you for standing up. Call them out.
The company obviously monitor HC issues raised but choose to remain silent.
The company doesn't need the full amount for SDV right now. They need to tell investors what the plans and progress are. The BOD directors are lawyers (brains). Worry less about the peers and more about protecting and growing investors value.

For a share buyback of 10% at 1.40 would cost 56m. This announcement would end the shorting very quickly. Shorts now stand at 14%, another 10% would destroy them.
Low LCE price environment affect only low quality and high debt companies. The converters in china of low grade/ high cost are the ones not making margin. The ones that produce battery grade still make profit. The spod suppliers to these converters also make profit. Any part of the chain breaks down effect the end user.
The major problem for investors have been everyone thinking spod mines equal battery grade LCE = EVs. Not all battery grade LCE goes into EVs. Not all converters make battery grade.
If a converter make technical grade and sell for 9k/t- 7k/t cost = 2k/t. Spod price need to be 250 to break even. No mines would be producing.
If they make battery grade, the profit is big for all, in the chain.
When SDV come on line, GXY become a chemical producer and can sell directly. MtC spod has been going into batteries. The chemistry has been established for over years.
The company hadn't distinguished it self from others. The company has been talking while the value is pushed. Why don't they act. There's no reasons to go down the current road. If the contract price can be obtained from the converters, there no need to be so secretive. Its a public company.
Australian BODs have become mesmerized with meetings. Meetings about the previous meetings. Look at what need to be done and do it.
