Australian miner Red 5 has raised $A11M through the sale of its $1.50/t royalty entitlement on ore processed at Galaxy Resources' Mt Cattlin lithium concentrate project at Ravensthorpe in WA.
The buyer, Canadian company Lithium Royalty Corporation, will pay $7M upon Australian Foreign Investment Review Board approval and the $4M balance on receipt of the June or Sept quarter royalty entitlement.
The June qtr royalty entitlement will go 35% to Red 5 and 65% to LRC.
