How about showing us a plot of battery costs ($/kWh) over the past decade or so and then tell us again that EVs will forever be too expensive....?

You do know that the the spod price could double and only add hundreds of dollars to the cost of an EV, right?
This will be more than offset busy the continual decline in other EV costs relating to economies of scale and manufacturing efficiencies.

The spod price might indeed need to increase in order for new mines to be profitable. That’s fine, there is plenty of room for that whilst having an almost negligible effect of EV cost.
