Hi Jehosephat,
I agree with your sentiments but having been to Japan 10 of the last 12 years, I think the Japanese manufactures are well aware of the EV revolution but are keeping their cards close to their chest as they shore up alliances. China was first off the blocks but this is a middle distance race at best, not a sprint. A lot of the thoroughbreds are starting to find their pace.
