If you are doing so well shorting lithium stocks I'm sure you won't mind spending some of your "easy money" donating to a unit in one of their hospitals that needs more beds and equipment.
Consider it a tax on your profits, which are in themselves a tax and brake on Galaxy's progress and growth
and by extension, something that slows down the arrival of cheap EVs on the streets of Jakarta.

If you aren't that worried about Galaxy holders then please consider that the world can not afford further delays and obstacles.
Poorer nations are relying on the First World to invest, to be the early adopters, to pay the top dollar, to test and write the software and to create the economy of scale that will enable EVs for everyone within the next couple of decades.

Shorting lithium stocks has a human health impact.
You can ignore this truth if you like, but if you support the suppression of renewable stocks you are part of a movement
to actively profiteer as people suffer.
We must all accept that responsibility and act accordingly.
Cleaner energy is now available. Better cleaner transport will clean up the cities and alleviate suffering.

Another news article followed on about Toyota being busted for failing components in their diesel engines
that did nothing to prevent them spewing poisonous fumes and then blowing up.
I had my own ICE serviced yesterday to replace a dodgy catalytic converter.
Mr mechanic was telling me that all the pollution mitigation stuff is a kludge by manufacturers.
They are bolted onto engines that were never designed to factor in clean operation
and ultimately act to reduce their efficiency without doing a great deal of good at the tail-pipe.
The fumes are still deadly. It is a band-aid and everyone knows.
The more that govt emission standards ratchet up, the more and more inefficient the ICE vehicle
or the harder it is to make the pollution mitigation actually function.
European standards are now so high that the German auto companies have admitted that it is cheaper for them to build EVs than to comply
with new standards.

The world is listening and ready to punish and force accountability on those who are profiting from pollution.
Toyota is the biggest auto company. They have already accepted lithium is the future and are moving as fast as they can.
I hope this latest emission failure gives them another kick up the bum.

Financial games being played with renewable stocks as they get up and running is wasting valuable time
and delaying finance needed to develop projects to keep up with the 2020s demand.

You should carefully consider the implications of your actions and words.
We all have social responsibilities to current and future generations that outweigh short-term profit motive
and the richer we are, the more we must assist in nurturing positive solutions
and support them when they are being ignored, subjected to unfair treatment, blatant manipulation and incorrect analysis.

If you must short to make money because you can not do it any other way,
but are also smart enough to realise that lithium is only going to rise and rise from this point onwards,
then
I would strongly recommend looking at the far more profitable and certain financial victory of shorting coal, gas, petrol and uranium stocks,
and leave lithium to get on with the job of helping to address the problems those energy sources have wreaked upon our planet.

And, if you do profit from shorting those fossil fuel stocks (and you surely will), consider taking some of that money and taking a long position in a good lithium stock with a good track record of production and good future of growth ahead of it.

Sorry AC but classing Uranium as a fossil fuel is just wrong.
Nuclear needs to be part of the energy mix. Clean and base load power. When the world is all driving EV's renewable energy isn't going to supply all that electric.
