The cost of draining and returning to production was nearly the cash holding. You are correct but not the reason. GXY MC is now equal to the northern tenements sold to Posco. Each shipment adds $10m aud profit to the books. The net profit should be enough to cover cost at SDV and JB. The shipments are important to grow. Our peers need shipments to keep the lights on. MtC mine and cash is equal to the MC... SDV, JB, MtC deposits and investments in LPD and A40 are currently valued at zero. The SP is wrong at this time. Bhp has a debt of 48%. Bhp and RIO are both investing for EVs. Shell, BP and Chevron are also. As long as the shipments go out for the next 12 months, it will remain profitable. The new CEO didn't join to see the company go out of business. The Argentina production team just got employed. The company should speak up, not HC posters. As shareholders, everything is still there, as was at $3 and above. Short sellers have move the price and make everyone feel worthless. The company should manage this issue, they have the legal team and fund to do it. The Dow is an over reaction. They sell , then they buy back. China and US apply tariffs on each other, then what? Do people stop eating, wear cloths and shoes, give up traveling and hold onto gold. The US is a net exporter of oil to China. China wants companies like Apple and Tesla in the country as well as LG, Samsung etc. Tariff is just a tax, like all taxes that already exist. China agricultural land is now industrial, they have to import food or starve. Gold is still at 14k. Oil was 100 plus a barrel, now around 55. Petrol was 70c now 1.70. Babies are born and old people die. More wind farms and battery storages will be built. Coal generators are slowly being shut down.

Good post Regal, and agree with all youve said. Like you my point is fundamental company values have gone out of the window at the moment. What we think the companies assets and cash bank is worth is not relevant to the MC. Thats outside our control. This sector wide selloff could be a blessing in disguise and sort the wheat from the chaff. For example come end of sept their could be the opportunity to pick up A40 for a song if they dont have a minimum $15m cash on hand, with script and cash to pay off their debt. Now is not the time to be selling and IMHO nor buying. The trend needs to change and that is a way off. GLTAH
