You fail to understand supply/demand 101.

You also fail to understand the cost trajectories of EVs and the fact that purchase price parity is coming.

You fail to understand that the rapid increase in demand that is coming can absolutely cause Li prices to rise whilst EV prices drop, because the other costs associated with EV manufacture are dropping enough to offset the extra HUNDREDS of dollars that even a doubling of Li price would add to an EV cost.

Why is it so damn difficult to realise that the “premium” you speak of is diminishing rapidly and will soon not exist?

Wake up and look forward a bit, you carry on as though all the trajectories just stop today.

Keep digging Colin, your analysis and interpretation leaves a lot to be desired.
It’s appalling FUD with no foresight and absolute ignorance of the cost and growth trajectories, not to mention basic economic principles.
