My best guess is that it is likely that it is a small number (possibly just one) institutional investor or hedge fund that has bought via Instinet over the past couple of weeks and that they aren't trading in the opposite direction to themselves. It's the best part of 4M shares so far this month... pretty chunky. Argonaut Securities also shows up as a net buyer this month with minimal sell volume (again... on behalf of their clients most likely). This company is a resources stocks specialist broker.
