It would have been a good move for JM, in anticipation of a successful TO, to have increased his salary as a bargaining point should he have wanted a position in the TO group. Unfortunately the initial Samsung deal failed but if he can negotiate a future successful TO beneficial to share holders, I won't care what his salary is.
