Short answer yes as the processes are very different.

Have a look at LPD (sorry for the cross promote, i do hold there but am not recommending just a great example of the differences ) for some solid info into the way lepidolite is processed. Very different. Usually come with different bonus materials which are also valuable to refine and sell. There is a bunch of Crux videos etc that will give you a better understanding of the process.

Also Lepidolite deposits are still in their infancy of becoming economic to mine so have yet to be seriously proven at scale.
