Small correction if I may... the P/E ratio is based on NPAT (Net Profit After Taxes), not EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization). The biggest difference for CXO will be taxes, especially since some of the explorer tax credits were returned to shareholders in (from memory) FY2018 and 2019. I guess there might be a 30-40% difference between EBITDA and NPAT, so not trivial.
