I think unless there’s a very serious push from Tesla (or another manufacturer/ NT Govt.) to fast track plans, then we can forget the Hydroxide plant until 2024 at the earliest. The PFS isn’t due until mid 2023 looking at the original timelines: https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/CXO/02398931.pdf
As spodumene prices are so high, it absolutely makes sense to take advantage in the here and now, and concentrate on shipping dirt as soon as possible.
I had expected an announcement this week though. I think Tesla’s chair person has been busy with the Canberra conference and aftermath.
It would be nice to get an ANN next week. Everyone wants to be in bed with S3XY Tesla
