With Spod prices well into the $000's, transportation to port costs become a minor percentage of revenue. When a given cost is a minor percentage of revenue you basically can't be at a huge disadvantage from having a different cost structure for that expense item. It can be a minor disadvantage but not a huge disadvantage.
CXO does have better logistics to port than LTR but the absolute cost of this difference isn't much. A July 2021 Taylor Collison research report LTR's transport costs to Geraldton at A$56/t. I found one reference to Core's being US$7/t (Circa A$10/t). Something around A$50/t doesn't matter much with spod prices more than 100x this amount.
