    In my younger days I operated steam,electric,hydraulic motors.The best of them steam.Lifting a heavy anchor that was a bit stuck , you could leave the steam valve open at full power until it started to losing up.This without anything breaking or tripping and safely.Certainly not so with electric and hydraulic systems.
