Had the exact same thoughts about the report as well when I read it.
Furthermore, Credit Suisse was looking down the barrel of collapse only a month ago and was on the ropes. Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me if they and a few other major players in the Big End of Town pulled off a pump and dump.
All I'm gonna say is what everyone else has said. Ignore them. Their predictions to date on the spodumene price, on where various companies share price would be and global production rates for lithium have all been wildly inaccurate and when they have released media articles, they are always laced with "plausable deniablity" quotes so that nobody can sue them for essentially trying to crash a stock and cashing in on the shorts.
Also, anybody here a few months back will remember Macquarrie, Goldmans, State Street, Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley (funny how history always seems to have the same culprits) all saying lithium would dive and then a few weeks later, major purchases showing up in the exchange records that a number of clever cookies found for Core Lithium.
As usual, listen to the actual Lithium experts, the miners and the chemical producers. They are the ones who actually know what's going on with supply and demand.
And if your one of those people who jumped in the last few days, my message to you is simple. Hold your ground, you purchased a quality company which is about to be rolling in cash in the next few months. Don't lose your nerve and let emotion dictate your trading. The Share price is coming to you and it may come a lot sooner than any doom mindset right now might imagine.
