I've just spent the last two years in Darwin,now in Thailand,in those years the wet season consisted of a lot of hot day's,around 2pm rain for about an hour or so,rain during night,the occasional 2 day rain event apart from that hot and sunny,barring a hurricane I'd hardly call what I experienced a tropical wet season like some are imagining.It lasts about 5 months and doesn't seem to disrupt the everyday workings of the place,not sure what all the fuss is about....
