My guess is that GS have been engaged by one of the big boys to identify lithium assets for acquisition. They will earn fees for the engagement; make money from shorting as the price falls; and then make pots more money handling the acquisition. Nice work if you can get it. Shame for honest shareholders like (most of) us.
