My exit strategy Wild Man as im pushing 60 is to fully retire ( I work kinda part time ) .. but as a long term holder with a decent amount of shares .. was to sell say 100k worth yrly - 50% capital gain discount ( held more than 12 mths ) .. so around say 7500 in tax and Medicare levy , and 92,500 in the bank ( I’m no big spender so more than enough for a yrly income ) … and all going well just do that yr after yr until I run out of shares to cash in ….
