I am fairly new in CXO but I think you are not getting the substance out of it....All GS is saying is that "they would expect a repricing clause in a contract with Yahua ( please see below)...... And that they had a floor and ceiling price of 6% Li2O US$550-950/t in a contract" back in those days compared to around US$6000 current spot price.
We just had a shipment with 1.4%Li20 at US$951/DMT equivalent to Li2O 6% US$4083.
US$4,000 is perfectly inline with GS own forecast for Li2O for the year 2023 as attached below. Cheers
