As Joe Lowry mentioned in his latest episode of the Global Lithium Podcast - this shortsighted attack on lithium is only going to exacerbate the medium to long term shortage.
It takes 5-8 years from initial investment to shipping ore - with the current negative sentiment, less mines will end up coming online, especially the higher cost producers who require a higher price to be profitable.
By trying to drive down prices now, they are only driving the medium to long term prices up.
