All that you mentioned could explain why the shorts have been increasing not decreasing. Looking like they are behind schedule with this rain, got to think that they would have planned for these problems, not just say oh shit when it occurred and now thet try and find a solution.
I wonder how different the wet season is around Finnis compared to the Pilbara where a lot of the mining staff have their experience.
Time will tell.
