    @cophot
    It is not quite as Easy as That.
    Using Your Own Number’s, I will try and Give You, My Thoughts.

    Your Original 300,000 Shares, Cost You, Let’s Say 20 cents each. (I think You have held for a while).
    You Sell at $ 1.50, That gives You $ 1.30 Profit.

    Pay CGT Discounted Tax, of 17.5 %, which is 22.75 cents PS.
    That leaves You, with $ 1.2725, X 300,000, to ReInvest.

    You Now have $ 381750 To Buy that many Shares for $ 1.00

    Your Shares get back to $ 1.50, and You do the same again.
    This Time You are Taxed 35 %.
    50 cents Profit per Share, = 17.5 cents Tax, per Share.

    Giving You 381750 X $ 1.325, or $ 505818.75, to Re Invest.

    For the above to happen, The SP has to Hit $ 1.50, then drop back to $ 1.00 twice, from here

    A more realistic expectation, from here, would be IMO-

    Take The $ 381750, Buy back in, for $ 1.00.
    Wait until They Hit $ 2.00, and The Maths Plays Out Like-
    $ 1.00 profit per Share.

    35 cents Tax Paid per Share, giving You a Balance of $ 629887.50, to Re Invest, when The SP Drops to $ 1.50.

    I do expect the SP, to drop back below $ 1.50, after hitting the next ATH, but I don’t think it will drop back to $ 1.00

    You can certainly make Money doing this, but it is Easy on Paper, I think You will need to be Very "Robot Like", with Your Trades.

    Other things You need to concider, How long do You want Your Money tied up for?
    Sometimes, when You have a decent Tax Increase, You are up for Provisional Tax, on top. (That Hurts).
    I am going to Give Trading a chance, but only with probably 2 X 10 % Parcels, not the full amount of Shares I hold.
