Hi Phoppo,
I use Selfwealth and have no complaints. The best thing is it has a low flat fee ($9.50) per trade.
My trading pattern is similar, and I'll often go months without buying or selling anything.
And instant transfers into the trading account are possible now, which used to be one of the shortcomings.
On Whirlpool there are probably some good discussion threads about the topic.
