I’m not up with what shorters do particularly but as I understand it they borrow shares sell them off and thus they have the effect of lowering the share price as holders sell off mainly from fear.
But don’t shorters eventually have to buy back the shares in order to repay to the lender?In Cores case with close to 10% of shares being shorted won’t the shorters have to buy back soon particularly as we are going to be very profitable soon.
