Yep @regal in the latest podcast from battery material review they were actually discussing the Chinese incentivizing ICE cars as they are having trouble keeping up with the infrastructure required for EV's so they were trying to slow down the transition a little which also lines up with the falling prices for lithium we have seen.
So there is a bit of mixed messaging going on but that report was from people in the industry in china so not just hearsay. And lets be honest not unusual to have dig for the truth in what information gets leaked out of china.
Either way there is no stopping the EV juggernaut, It just might not be happening as fast as we'd like.
