Just thinking out loud, but given Tesla's previous interest and given their intent to stay ahead of the market by aggressively pricing and securing their supply chain, why would they not put a bid in for CXO for say $3, de-risk their supply chain for APAC and move on to do the same in North America and Europe. This way they focus less on supply and more on production. Now Elon himself has hinted at something to this effect through a number of tweets over the pst few months and his most recent move on pricing and mega-plants seems to correlate, the only missing piece now is which lithium producers will he strategically acquire to remove the supply headache and provide cost base predictability for a critical input material.....
