The shorts game imo is just to play the share price like a poker machine each day on a daily basis, churning vol trades for the pip, buy 3 sell 2 or buy 2 sell 3 depending on the XAO if its an up or down day .. I honestly don't think they are "controlling" the trend or even accumulating to cover..but rather they will be caught out when the trend changes and need to react very quickly same as longs need to do at the top.
