By that logic selling would be against their "fiduciary duty" lol
There's nothing wrong with shorting, obviously it's a pain when someone is betting against you but that's the way the market works. Not everyone will agree with your sentiment. If we are right and things go well for this company, the shorts will be burnt and we will be happy. If not, the shorts will be happy and we will be burnt. There is no "manipulation," just different trading strategies based on different analysis.
