Indonesia is setting up with a whole supply chain and manufacturing for Batteries for the asian market. I guess the labour will be cheaper too. Joke Widodo recognises the importance of this into the future so he has been jumping at it. If Elon was going to invest he would probably do it here. They only need the lithium from us, close , they haver the other elements, and can get Graphite from China. I read somewhere they plan to supply them, Philli, Thai, Vietnam etc. We have to remember its not 200million car hungry Indonesians because the electric bike market will cover them with batteries, just bikes alone or cars alone is a huge market across SE Asia.
