Yep agreed, worth posting but from the quick glance i had it looked like there was some conflicting info in the article also.

Glossed over the dramas in Chile, I believe I heard there is water rights issues in Argentina that is still being discussed ( picked that up from a podcast as a side mention might be rubbish). That and a fact that most mines get into production on average of 3 years behind schedule ( again podcast so might be bull$%T) And some mines struggling to make grade... pretty sure mount Marion (might be someone else in WA) just tore up a contract for hydroxide as they weren't making grade without using far too much ore.

Knowing our government they probably forgot to factor in BESS or something and only focused on EV's.
