They could report on all sorts of fluff but fortunately they dont IMO but they won't bow to the demands of the impatient or traders . There are any number of companies that have longer news breaks than CXO, they often come in runs , we had several earlier on and having a quiet spell now.
As BD pointed out the quarterly covers all operations and if there is a material event in between , good or bad, you will hear about it , in the meantime unless you hear otherwise things will be proceeding as planned....
