The Market Cap is calculated Share Price X Shares on Issue. No other way.
Money hitting the account, will not directly move the Market Cap.
The "Value" of the Company is reduced by Cash in the Bank.
Market Cap, less Money in the Bank, is the "Value" of the Company.
That is how I understand it works.
