Interesting how that up tick was the day before the Quarterly report. Knowledge is power. Some new what the market reaction would be and have known of the teething troubles for months. It makes going short with volume almost risk free. Will be interesting how quickly shorts have closed after the quarterly with the last few high volume days giving them an easy exit,
Also State street paid a lot more for the shares that they lent out so they will be looking for the share price to recover above their purchase price less fees/commission from shorters just to brake even. IMHO.
