Why does everyone seem so surprised with the decline in share price? The shorter's are pretty much ALWAYS right and CXO currently has the highest short position of any stock on the ASX.
The funds know exactly what is going on inside the mine. They didn't like what they saw and are making substantial profits on it while it continues to head lower.
Is it unfair that they have the info and we don't? Of course, but unfortunately that's just the way it is.
