A look at some of the other deposit exploration (12 Aug picture). Nothing yet on Sentinel for Kellys & Ah hoy South and probably not Flooded. What has happened is a lot of drilling at Ah Hoy, Seadog and some unknown and unnamed pegmatite between these two.


Looking at Seadog
Core announced some really strong drill results for Seadog on 18 April. This included 64m @ 1.77% from 128m. The two maps below are April and now in relation to Seadog. The drilling first appeared on 28 June. Great date because it means that Core can choose to talk about it in its annual report to 30 June because the drilling bit of the exploration happened during the financial year (hint, hint Core - put some stories around exploration success in your annual report - its not just boring financials its also telling a story to investors about why they should like the Core story!!)

If results are 6-12 weeks, a Seadog update could drop anytime. Interesting question. Does Core just bundle all the exploration in this area together and release it as one announcement producer style or does Core accept its still transitioning to full producer status given its problems at Grants and put out some more explorer type ASX releases? Given shareholders have taken the share price hit for production problems, perhaps we can get the explorer announcements back for a bit, particularly if there's some high-grade 50m+ intercepts in there!!


Ah Hoy
Core's done quite a bit of extension drilling at Ah Hoy. The big change was in the satellite pass of 23 July so I wouldn't expect any sort of update before late September. The drilling area is just over 200m wide. There's also some drilling between Ah Hoy and Seadog where Core hasn't yet released the name of the target. Its only 200m from the extension Seadog drilling so it could be another blind pegmatite.


Just over 2km straight south of Ah Hoy is Penfolds (and about 1km south of the road through that area).
The Penfolds JORC resource graph has a 100m scale indicating a total size of around 150m. The drilling is looking a lot bigger than that so it would appear the stepout drilling has had success. The two dots in the top NE corner below are Sues (two NSI's in the 18April release).



East of Ah Hoy
Ah Hoy is about 1km from the Core eastern boundary. With LPM drilling right on their western boundary, their drilling is pretty close to core's. The north-eastern set of drilling below is Lei, not Core exploratory drilling.


Most of LPM's maps are showing material Core already presents as non-resource targets. In the area between Ah Hoy and Penfolds is interesting because LPM identify more pegmatites on Core's tenement than Core identifies. I try not to promote nearology targets but it is necessary if they start to tell you new information about your target company (in this case Core).

For the strip between Ah Hoy and Penfolds (excluding those really close to the boundary) Core's map has 2 other pegmatites - Seadog and Ah Hoy South. LPM has 5 notes the location of five (three above Fog Bay Rd and two below).
