No. Market cap is simply multiplying shares on issue by the share price.
The jump in the Market Cap now is a reflection of more shares on issue from the capital raise. Raising $100m by issuing 250m shares at 40c added $100m to the Market Cap. It however takes a few days for the shares to be issued and be recognised in ASX processes so that its caught in market cap calculations. The trigger for the ASX to recognise more shares had been issued was the Cleansing notice issued yesterday.
