Hydrogen, I like it but read in the local press in Norway that it is not practical for ships due t the size of the hydrogen tank required.This limits the market as similar would be for trucks as well.While visiting Norway I got surprised that the car ferry we got on was electric Lithium batteries. As soon as we docked an large arm connected the charger from the shore.Got anther surprise when the ferry left port with me noticing anything, not a "Clang" in fact totally silent.I just noticed the landscape change. Yes we drove a Volvo XC 40.
Our Anxiety was when stupid Google got it wrong an warned us that we did not have enough charge to reach our destination and to turn back for a 2 hour drive to get charged up,This as we drove down another ferry terminal having no less that 4 X vacant charging stations.
Mmy money is on Lithium for the next 5 - 10 years.
