The opposition unfortunately will criticise the government for circumstances beyond the government's control just to try and earn some political points. Companies are run on business lines and their purpose is to make money and increase share holder value. Core has done its part in providing employment and also doing community work. It has to make cut backs to continue as a going concern in difficult times. The lithium prices are not going to be at this low price for long and will rebound. Government will also cut back on projects when their revenue falls as we have experienced and there are decisions made which may not be popular but necessary. If this is their solution then it is impractical and creates another tier in the government bureaucracy which is what should be avoided. in order to promote industries, government should improve the infrastructure which will be an incentive for companies to invest in the Sate.
