Might have to change my name to “Boom or Bust or Boom again” .. still kicking myself like many others , I didn’t take the bulk of my huge windfall off the table 12 mths ago , it’s gonna take too long for me to see that sort of SP again , ( That’s if CXO get through the downturn that is , and hopefully things improve come July, I still have faith & believe they will ) … but I’ll certainly be taking money off the table next time around , when on the rise…( even if it is only 40/50c ) … and not get sucked in with the “Armchair Experts “ with pie in the sky predictions , stupid me buying a considerable amount more at $1.50 to $1.65 levels after dropping back from all time high of $1.87 and then just watching it go down hill .. thinking surely my Portfolio won’t drop under ******* and then the next 100,000 and the next 100,000 and the next so on and so forth .. to the point where it is now , ( bit like the interest rate rises going up 13 consecutive mths except I was watching my Portfolio drop another 100,000 ..13 consecutive times ) I’m going too retire by yrs end regardless of what’s left … just a hell of a lot less than it would of been last yr .. if I wasn’t so focused on the Tax Bill I’d receive … anyway that’s my Hard Luck story ..others might be in worse position though , so I shouldn’t complain I suppose … just would of been nice to retire not having to watch every dollar so to speak .
