recall folk, past CEO , just about saying our gold, 5mgm nuggertts everywhere, could be bigger than lithium,
then lets put off construction (of an already promised date 2 years prior) lithium mine, because prices weren't good enough... we missed a years production of peak prices, we would have 4-5x in the bank now.
hey, we got it wrong in FID, and DFS about how much it could cost us, and better close down as it cost us too much to dig it up, we would be paying someone else to take it off our hands. china would like that and did, but we wont tell the market out cost, or that leak in dam, or lower prices or big pay pakcet while we go futher down.
why couldn't we look at the cost effective lithium producers still making some profit and copy that, nope we aer too good and set in our ways.

still there is hope, JV, Sale with royalitiies or assets all mentioned many many times before... and said to CXO, now its a bit late but not too late,
