I think it's important for the company to restart mining even at a reduced scale. I am no engineer but I've worked in the mining industry for 20 years, I can't see why they can't at very least have one digger and three trucks working a circuit to maintain the stockpile.
It appears at the current prices that would be viable especially considering the breakdown of improved stripping ratios making the current ore perhaps even slightly profitable in the current market.
This is essential to maintain the current contract it has to avoid paying the penalties for not supplying the contractual amounts.
