They did start to get quite hysterical today even confessing to purchasing shares in another lithium company incase sentiment turns they’re covered to say “I told you so but just not CXO” who would’ve thought…..let’s hope Tesla bringing their 32k EV release forward to next year creates a potential bidding war with BYD for market share. Currently the payback is 5-7 years for an EV compared to an ICE vehicle if you factor the extra initial purchase price of an EV and then the fuel savings with current pricing…..if the upfront cost is the same and it’s practical to have an EV for you it’s a no brainer as the fuel savings is going to compensate the potential issue of battery replacement/refurbishment down the track.
