Well in that statement you are failing to understand the Grants and BP33 mine ore. They are among the highest grades in Australia.

Iron grades are a major problem for many mines. From the first DFS the spodumene from Grants is <0.7% Fe which is well below the poor quality deposits in much of WA where even keeping the grade below 1% Fe is difficult.

As per a previous post, it would appear the strip ratio for the mining work still to be undertaken at Grants is under 5:1 making Grants restart an excellent grade ore with strong characteristics around negative elements like iron while also having an excellent strip ratio.
