The rain here in Alice Springs for instance, has been remarkable compared to last years drought and considering we are nearly in February (easily the hottest month of the year down here and routinely in the mid to even high 40's) we have green grass and cloudy days at the moment which indicates they must have had a hell of a lot of rain further up north.
Any Top Enders out there, if you could verify this it would be appreciated.
