Nah, to convert SC6 into Lithium Hydroxide requires a lot of gas for the roasting stage. Making hydroxide in Darwin make sense because you remove the need to liquify the gas and then transport it to some far flug port, which is expensive and carbon intensive, as you just use the gas in Darwin.
This improves the overall ESG credentials and input costs of hydroxide made in Darwin rather than China or Indonesia.
Indonesia's battery value chain chemical interests are centered around nickel processing, not lithium.
Borneo (the new capital of Indonesia) is where the battery cell and EV manufacturing plants would be located that CXO hydroxide would be transported to.
