Out of interest, this is my super performance since 1999:
So what happened in 2019? I moved it all from a traditional managed fund ("Aggressive" option) to ING Direct, where I can put up to 90% (from memory) into ASX300 shares and ETFs, with no more than 20% exposure to any one share. So as a believer in the EV theme, I spread it around AKE, PLS, LTR, LYC and a few others. Very happy with the result, and none of the hassle of SMSF. SMSF is great for those who want to invest in property - that's not me.
