Out there in the outback they got them new fangled phones and 'puters and stuff. I hear you don't need cables or nufink nowadays. I've even heard you can see who ya talkin to and all, just like them big city folk. It's that fast they called it Zoom! LOL
Forgive me RC just amusing myself.
I'm sure there are reasons for an office of some sort in Darwin but HR is most likely outsourced to a large degree and/or managed by the subcontractors such as Lucas Total Contract Solutions. I for one am happy to leave those decisions to those it affects. If they need a permanent office rather than a rent-a-boardroom they will have one pronto. When I was flying regularly corporately I always found the time in the air was a great time for headspace and to ponder the big picture rather than the detail. It was not wasted time. I guess I'm not alone in that.
