Here is news that confirm my opinion that batteries, accumulators are for short term supply ie UPS, EV"s, whilst accumulators like water dams are long term steady supply.Do not forget with heavy load of amps flowing either during charge or discharge, heat is generated.Therefore batteries out in the desert require air conditioning a drain on the supply source, not so for water dams, our natural battery :
