Seriously, blaming other for people investing too much in a stock isn't a responsible thing.
I agree that CXO may have not do the best towards holder, but no one told anyone to put their house on it...
This said, I am like you, maybe a few month ahead were I dramatically reduce my holding in that sector, and like you, I hope that no one lost too much on it...and also agree to keep watching that sector and be ready when it bounce back in the future...
